Who are We?
L2 Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at L2 . Learn more about who we are, what we believe
and what are our core values.

What's in a name?
L2 - Life to the Second Power - refers to the two aspects of our life--our physical being and our eternal, spiritual life.  It's about being redeemed--our lives regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  We are about transforming lives with the Truth of God's Word, fighting against the worldviews that oppose our Gospel.  We want to teach and defend our faith intellectually and with compassion.  Read John 10 for more insight.

Where are We?
We are located East of downtown Denver, at Colfax and York.  Our address is 1477 Columbine St., Denver, CO 80206.  We are just West of the Tattered Cover Book store and Chipotle on Colfax.  Easy access from Downtown Denver, Lowry and Stapleton.

When are we here?
Sundays at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm. Also during the week at various Community Groups.

Parking
Parking is free and is available just to the south of the church, as well as to the west in Maaco's parking lots.  Maaco is West of the church, and both of their parking lots can be accessed via the alley just west of the church.

What to wear
Wear whatever makes you the most comfortable. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not. At the same time,  you are welcome to come in your Sunday best if that's what you're used to.

What to expect
For some people going anywhere new can be intimidating.  We want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so here's what goes on during a typical Sunday morning service:

We have coffee and refreshments, including fabulous lattes and breakfast treats.  People come early to visit and have a drink and then head upstairs to find a seat.  The worship team begins with a few songs and then our lead pastor Russ McKendry shares the sermon, or message.  This is based on the Bible and is designed to help us understand God, who we are and the world we live in. After the sermon we enter into a time of communion to thank God and remind ourselves of our love and need for Jesus Christ.   We finish with a few more songs of worship.  (The words are on a screen in the front.)

Sunday evenings (L2 After Dark) are much the same, but in a little big more casual setting. There is childcare for ages 3 and under, but no other Kids program is available at night.
