Bio
Nancy and I started attending L2 in January of 2007, after church hunting for about
10 months. We immediately made some
strong connections with people by attending After Dark and by hosting a small
group for the short time we lived downtown.
The teaching and relationships at L2 are the reason we have committed to
a church that is 40 miles away from home. Russ has a way of teaching that is compelling and motivational and we
really appreciate the way he delivers truth. In April, we bought our first
house out in Firestone (aka Wyoming), and are hoping to continue to build more
friendships with L2 folks up north and start another small group.
Nancy is actively involved with the worship team and Mike is extremely eager to serve L2 as a deacon. We are both excited about our involvement at L2 and look forward to more opportunities to serve. Together Nancy and I are volunteer staff members with King’s Kids Denver, a ministry that teaches young people the impact they can have on other people’s lives by faithfully living a life that honors God. Nancy is also involved with a women’s jail ministry at the Boulder County Jail.
We are expecting our first child in July 2008.
