Vision
I think Genesis 24:27 says it clearly – “I, being on the way, the Lord has led me…” Abraham’s servant was “on the way” when God led him to Rebecca. The Good Samaritan was “on the way” when God led him to the man he was to help. Each morning when we set our feet on the path of the new day the potential for God using us in the lives of others is tremendous. The requirement is that we’re on the way – as we get out of our chairs and onto our feet, as we carry Christ to the world and demonstrate His love in our thoughts, words, and actions, God will lead us to those whose lives He intends to touch through us. If we’re all doing that the influence of the Kingdom will be extended and the church, the missional family community of Christ, will be right in the will of God. So… be “on the way” not “in the way!”
