Jason Benton - Elder/Worship Pastor
Duties as elder: Jason is responsible for recruiting, equipping (spiritually and musically), leading and developing future leaders for the worship ministry at L2 . He is responsible for all aspects of the worship services including the Sound, Graphics and Music teams. Jason also teaches classes.

Bio
Jason grew up in a small country setting in North Carolina. As a farm boy, he developed a love for hunting, fishing, basketball, and music. After receiving his BA in 1996, he moved to Denver to attend seminary. It was during this period that he met his wife Emily and starting making his roots in the Denver area. Shortly after receiving his MDIV, Jason and Emily moved to South Carolina to plant a church. In 2005, Jason returned to lead the music program at L2. Jason and Emily are blessed with two children.
Vision
Life is pretty easy to screw up and I hope not to. My vision for myself and my family is to have a good life. I am not sure how long I will live, but if God gives me another 30 years on earth, I hope they are marked with Bible study, confession of sin, financial success, and lots of laughs and vacations with my family. My vision for the worship ministry at L2 in one sense is simply for the music to be decent. I also want the worship services to effectively communicate biblical truth and draw our spirits into an open response of submission and excitement before God. We still have a lot to learn, but I believe we are on the right track. As more talented musicians join the church, our services are developing into something unique and solid here in the Denver area
