L2 Events

ASOBI
The "Association to Stomp Out Biblical Ignorance" is a question and answer forum for those who are new to L2 or have questions about who we are, what we believe, or what we are trying to do for our city. The group will be open to anyone who would like to attend (but limited to 25 per meeting) and will meet two Wednesday nights per month (1st and 3rd) at the McKendry's home in Arvada. This group offers a venue for great discussion about our doctrine and vision. Please contact Sally McGirk to register for this class or for more information.

Habana
This guys group meets one Friday night a month at Pat McKendry's home in Arvada. Please see the Calendar of Events for the next one scheduled. Everyone is welcome.

Wine and Cheese
The ladies also get together one Friday night a month, at different homes across Denver. See the Calendar of Events or contact Alisa Bard for more info.

Breakfast
Once a month we will have breakfast at the church at 9:30 am on Sunday morning. Watch for a sign-up sheet in the foyer.

Baptism
We will periodically have baptism services at the church, depending on interest. If you would like to know about baptism, please contact Mike McGirk.

Newcomers Class
This class is a must for people who consider L2 their church home whether you've been here for a few weeks or a lifetime.  It will give you a biblical overview of the foundation from which our theology and community springs.  The content of the class includes an overview of our church and our core values, with a doctrinal exploration of  basic biblical theology and how this teaching plays out philosophically and practically in the way we embody the gospel to the neighborhood in which we live.

This class is for everyone. If it's your first week at L2, if you believe in Jesus or not, this introductory class is a great place to get started for those who are just curious and those who are ready to get connected.  

Capstone Classes
The L2 Church Capstone classes are a teaching ministry available free of charge to anyone with an interest.  The leadership of L2 is committed to equipping the saints for ministry (Eph 4:11,12).  These classes are an important part of L2's discipleship ministry and offer instruction in a wide range of topics.  In order to ensure sound doctrine and practical application, these classes are taught by the Pastors, Elders, invited guest instructors, or other qualified instructors from within the L2 body.
